This was our first time at the Castillo Italia. We'd been given vouchers as a present and I'll be honest, I'm glad we had them. The restaurant is beautiful, nicely laid out and very relaxing to be in. The food (Cajon Chicken Stack) was absolutely delicious...my husband hasn't shut up about it. Great food with lots of variety. They have a great selection of cocktails and desserts too. Friendly staff! However when you're asked if you want a large drink be aware they will charge you for 2 small drinks, which I felt was a strange upsell technique.
Went for birthday dinner with my wife and was very busy when we arrived. Had a bit of a wait to order but food then arrived quickly. Pasta was very tasty and we received a complimentary dessert for our initial wait. We spent upwards of 2.5 hrs there and will be back.
